Iceberg lettuce grows similarly to cabbage and is made up of edible, pale green leaves. It has a milder taste compared to other varieties of lettuce, making it a favorite lettuce for children and those who don't like stronger, bitter flavors. Its crunchiness is pleasant and its large leaves make it the ideal lettuce wrap.

The internet is known to spread rumors. And a myth is circulating that iceberg lettuce contains no nutritional value and is not part of a healthy diet.
It's true that there are other varieties of lettuce that contain more nutritional benefits than the iceberg, but that doesn't mean this one deserves to be unloved.

One of the main benefits of iceberg lettuce is that, like most vegetables, it is a natural source of fiber, a nutrient that helps you have a healthy stool and feel full.
Iceberg lettuce contains interesting mineral vitamins, such as vitamin A which supports the immune system, magnesium and calcium which contributes to healthy bones.
It is therefore an exaggeration to claim that this lettuce does not have nutrients, as some people claim.
